From Setback to Strength: The Story of Mekong Ode
Clean water lies at the core of a healthy life. Beyond meeting a basic human need, it also supports livelihoods, strengthens communities, and safeguards public well-being. In Kampong Thom, however, affordable, locally produced drinking water was once difficult to find. Recognizing this gap, Mrs. Pong Sreyneang decided to take action. In 2014, despite having no formal technical background in water production, she founded Mekong Ode with a clear goal which is to provide clean drinking water at a price that ordinary families could afford.
